Bunkr is involved in Youth in Action from 2005. We obtained a grant for an Action 2 - European Voluntary Service (EVS) and Action 3 - Youth in the World (Youth Exchanges).

The Youth in Action programme is the biggest EU programme for non-formal education. It offers youth exchanges, voluntary service, youth initiatives projects, involvement in democracy projects, seminars and trainings, cooperation with partner countries and other interesting activities.

European Voluntary Service enables young people to participate individually or in groups to volunteer projects taking place in the EU and partner countries. Projects in the length of 2 to 12 months are focused on culture, children and youth, sports, social welfare, arts, ecology ...

We are focused on individual EDS and since 2005 we have in our organization hosted or host volunteers from France, Austria, Germany, Poland, Brazil and Turkey.

EVS project for our organization is very rewarding. Bringing fresh impetus. During the project all of us are learning to communicate, cooperate and live together with foreigners. 
Volunteers helping us in work with clients in the clubs, taking part in the preparation of activities, support streetworkers for their work. Most of volunteers had a conversation for students and youth in their native language or in English. Volunteers participating in events for local residents (Den pro neziskovky, Bambiriáda, Holidays in Třinec), where they have the opportunity to meet with the others citizens.
